Poshmark guideHow Poshmark fees work (and what you’ll actually take home)

Fees checked ; next check US sellers · sources linked below

Poshmark’s fee is one of the simplest to work out, which makes it easy to forget the parts that quietly eat into your payout: the $15 line, shipping discounts and heavy boxes. Here’s the whole picture, in plain numbers.

The fee in one sentence

Under $15, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95. At $15 or more, it takes 20% and you keep 80% (Poshmark’s fee guide, checked ). In return, Poshmark handles the payment (card fees included), sends you a prepaid shipping label and deals with customer support for the sale, according to the same page.

$5.00$2.95$2.05
$10.00$2.95$7.05
$14.99$2.95$12.04
$15.00$3.00$12.00
$20.00$4.00$16.00
$30.00$6.00$24.00

$100.00$20.00$80.00

Worked out with the same fee code as our Poshmark fee calculator. The buyer pays for shipping, so it isn’t in these numbers.

The $15 line

Because the fee switches from a flat amount to a percentage, a slightly lower price can leave you more. At $14.99 you take home $12.04; at $15.00 you take home $12.00. That’s $0.04 more for you, and the buyer pays a cent less. Above about $15, the 20% does the talking.

One wrinkle: Poshmark’s fee guide says 20% applies to sales “of $15 or more”, while its October 2024 blog post put the line at “over $15” (Poshmark blog, archived, checked ). Our calculators follow the fee guide, so exactly $15.00 pays $3.00. If you want to stay clear of the question, price at $14.99 or $15.01 and up.

Shipping: the buyer pays, unless you chip in

The standard label is a flat $6.49 for anything up to 5 lb, and the buyer pays it (Poshmark blog, Sept 8, 2025, checked ). Poshmark’s fee is on the sale price, so shipping never adds to your fee.

A shipping discount is different: if you offer one, it’s deducted from your earnings (Poshmark Support: Offer to Likers, checked ). Free shipping costs you the full $6.49. A Poshmark blog post from October 2024, no longer online, mentioned “$4.99 or free shipping” as listing options (Posh Pass post, Oct 2024 (archived), checked ); with today’s label price, $4.99 shipping means you cover $1.50. We haven’t confirmed the $4.99 option on a current official Poshmark page (the support page that lists every discount choice wouldn’t load for us), so check the amount the app shows you.

Offers

When you send an Offer to Likers, it has to be at least 10% below your listing price (or below the lowest offer that buyer got in the last 90 days), and a shipping discount is optional (Poshmark Support, checked ). Our calculators charge the fee on the price the item actually sells for, so a $30 offer on a $40 listing pays $6.00, not $8.00. The Poshmark offer calculator adds your shipping discount and costs, and tells you whether to accept or counter.

Bundles

Poshmark works out your earnings on a bundle from the total of the items, less your bundle discount, and one $6.49 label covers the bundle up to 5 lb (Poshmark Bundle FAQs, checked ). We read that as one fee on the bundle total. Two $10 items sold together for $20 would pay $4.00; sold one at a time, they’d pay $5.90 in total (our arithmetic from the published rule).

Heavy boxes

Over 5 lb you need an upgraded label: $5.00 up to 10 lb and $10.00 up to 15 lb. From October 26, 2026, if you ship over 5 lb without upgrading, Poshmark deducts the upgrade from your earnings (Poshmark blog, Oct 8, 2026, checked ). Weigh the packed box, not just the item. Coats, boots and bundles are the usual culprits.

Getting your money

Poshmark says you can withdraw your earnings by direct deposit or check, for free (Poshmark’s fee guide, checked ).
