An offer changes more than the price. Poshmark’s fee moves with it, and any shipping discount you add comes out of your side. This calculator puts the whole thing in one number.
How it works it out
- Poshmark’s fee: a flat $2.95 when the sale is under $15, and 20% when it’s $15 or more (Poshmark’s fee guide, checked ). We charge it on the offer or bundle price, using the same fee code as the Poshmark fee calculator.
- Bundles: Poshmark says your earnings on a bundle are worked out from the bundle total, less any bundle discount (Poshmark’s Bundle FAQs, checked ). So the fee is charged once, on the bundle price you enter. “You paid, per item” is multiplied by the number of items.
- Shipping discounts: the standard label is $6.49 for up to 5 lb, paid by the buyer (Poshmark blog, Sept 8, 2025, checked ). A shipping discount you offer is taken out of your earnings (Poshmark Support: Offer to Likers, checked ). Free shipping means you cover the whole $6.49.
- Walk-away price: the lowest price, to the cent, where your profit is at least your target margin of the price (and never below $0). Because the fee jumps from $2.95 to 20% at $15, a price just over $15 can miss a target that a price just under $15 hits. When that happens, the result says so.
- The verdict: Accept if the offer hits your target; Counter if it doesn’t, with the lowest price that does. If even your list price misses the target, it tells you that too.
About the $4.99 option. A Poshmark blog post from October 2024, no longer online, mentioned “$4.99 or free shipping” as listing shipping options (Posh Pass post, Oct 2024 (archived), checked ). With today’s $6.49 label, $4.99 shipping for the buyer means you cover $1.50. We haven’t confirmed the $4.99 option on a current official Poshmark page: the support page that lists every discount choice wouldn’t load for our checker. If the app shows a different amount, pick Custom amount and type it in.
Example
A $40 listing, a $30 offer, $4.99 shipping for the buyer and $8 paid for the item: Poshmark’s fee is $6.00, you cover $1.50 of shipping, Poshmark pays you $22.50 and your profit is $14.50, a 48.3% margin. With a 40% target, your walk-away price is $23.75, so this offer is an easy yes.
Not included
Label upgrades for boxes over 5 lb (from $5.00, deducted from your earnings; see the shipping cost calculator), Closet Clear Out or other promotions where Poshmark pays the shipping discount, and income tax. Offer to Likers must be at least 10% below the listing price, or below your lowest offer in the last 90 days (Poshmark Support, checked ); we don’t check that for you.
